This wine is produced from a combination of Malvasia Bianca 70%, Vermentino 10%, Trebbiano Toscano 10% and Pulcinculo 10% grape varieties, with different percentage depending from the year. The harvest begins in the end of September and it is strictly manual to preserve the integrity of the ripe fruit until it reaches the cellars. The selected grapes are light pressed, and after lent alcoholic fermentation is set off with natural yeasts and is done in stainless steel tanks in which we operate a control of temperature to maintain this very low, because with this method we want maintain all the typical character of the vines of our land. After fermentation, the wine is normally placed in steel tanks for a few months to attend the natural maturation, with various times from year to year. Before being put on the market the wine is refined for a few months in bottle. This wine, that shows a regional character like all wines produced in Montepulciano, reveals a maximum of personality, according to our wine-producing conception in which we want maintain the territorial value of our land Le Caggiole. Brumesco is brilliant and limpid to the eye, with an intense straw yellow colour with a gold touch; The smell is intense and reminds of exotic fruit, but with the typical fragrance of the vines that we have used in this blend of grapes. The taste is full, persistent and well-balanced, with an evident acidity, which contributes to freshness.
