In a vintage plagued by the large and sudden heat of August we begin to see with pleasant surprise the results of a tremendous and exhausting effort of selection. The wine is bright, breezy, of dazzling bouquet and totally free from burdens of smell and taste, which have forced us to leave on the ground so many brother bunches. Fragrance and flavour open in the air and stay aligned to the used elegance. In this way the virtues of the few bottles produced repay the sacrifice of many. It is called a “young Brunello”.
